Meet Rebecca Bruna

Rebecca Bruna is the founder and Clinic Director of Crosby Chirorpactic. She graduated as a chiropractor in 2009 and established Crosby Chiropractic in 2010 with the aim of providing personalised, evidence-informed musculoskeletal care to the local community she has always called home.

Originally from Crosby, Rebecca is proud to care for patients across Crosby, Waterloo, Formby, North Liverpool and the surrounding areas. She is a registered chiropractor with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) and is committed to ongoing professional development to ensure her patients receive care that reflects current best practice.

A Personalised Approach to Care

Rebecca believes that every patient is unique. Whether someone is seeking advice for back pain, neck pain, a sports injury or everyday aches and pains, she takes the time to understand their concerns, carry out a thorough assessment and work with them to develop an individualised management plan.

Her greatest satisfaction comes from helping people improve their movement, confidence and quality of life—whether they are elite athletes, busy parents, office workers or those simply wanting to stay active and enjoy everyday life.

Sports & Performance Background

Sport has always been a significant part of Rebecca's life.

As a junior badminton player, she became the National Under-18 Women's Doubles Champion and represented Lancashire and Merseyside. She also played competitively for Bordeaux during her time living in France.

Today, she enjoys keeping active and is a keen padel player, understanding first-hand the importance of maintaining movement, recovering well and performing at your best.

 

Working with Athletes

Rebecca has had the privilege of working with athletes across a variety of sports and competitive levels.

In 2015, she was honoured to serve as Head of the England Para Badminton Medical Team during the World Championships.

Throughout her career, she has also worked privately with professional footballers from clubs including Everton, Liverpool, Tranmere Rovers, Blackpool and Derry City.

Her experience also includes supporting:

• International German hockey players

• Irish international basketball players

• Elite strongmen and strongwomen

• Players from the Catalans Dragons rugby league team

• Athletes from a wide range of other sporting disciplines

While Rebecca enjoys working in high-performance sport, she firmly believes that everyone deserves the same high standard of care, regardless of whether they are competing internationally or simply want to enjoy daily life with greater comfort and confidence.

Life Outside the Clinic

Rebecca has lived in France, Spain, Canada and Ireland, experiences that have broadened both her cultural understanding and communication skills.

She speaks English, French and Spanish fluently, allowing her to welcome and support patients from a wide range of backgrounds.

Away from the clinic, Rebecca is a proud mum of three boys, and much of her spare time is spent with her family or on the padel court.
